Summary
This study tests a new PET imaging method that uses 10 to 100 times less radiation than current scans to detect Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Researchers will scan 200 adults (including healthy volunteers) after injecting a radioactive tracer, aiming to see if shorter scans and AI-enhanced images can still produce clear results. The goal is to make brain imaging safer and more accessible for diagnosing memory disorders.
