Could an arthritis drug save lives in HIV-TB meningitis?

Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug adalimumab to standard TB meningitis treatment can reduce deaths in HIV patients. About 130 adults in Brazil, Mozambique, and Zambia will take part. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and improves survival within 3 months.
