First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether exercising at a specific time of day, based on your natural body clock, helps people with prediabetes handle sugar better. Researchers will compare no exercise, morning exercise (9 am), and evening exercise (5 pm) in 28 adults who are overweight and have an extreme chronotype. Each person will try all three conditions on separate days to see which timing improves insulin sensitivity the most.
