New transplant combo targets tough leukemia

Summary
This study tests a stronger chemotherapy combination (thiotepa, busulfan, fludarabine) before a stem cell transplant for people with an aggressive form of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML). The goal is to see if this approach helps patients live longer without the cancer coming back. About 31 adults with high-risk CMML will take part.
