Summary

This study tests whether a single dose of an experimental drug called (2R,6R)-HNK can safely reduce short-term pain in healthy adults. HNK is related to ketamine but may have fewer side effects. Researchers will compare HNK to a placebo in 92 volunteers using pain tests and brain scans.
