Brain tumor patients test virtual doctor visits
NCT ID NCT06625047
Summary
This study aimed to understand if patients with glioma, a type of brain tumor, were as satisfied with virtual doctor visits (telehealth) as they were with in-person visits while receiving oral chemotherapy. Thirty adult patients alternated between telehealth and in-person check-ups after each treatment cycle. Researchers measured patient satisfaction, treatment completion rates, and quality of life to see which type of visit worked better.
