Brain tumor patients test drive telehealth: is home care just as good?

NCT ID NCT06625047

Summary

This study aimed to find out if brain tumor (glioma) patients receiving oral chemotherapy at home were as satisfied with remote video visits (telehealth) as with traditional in-person clinic visits. It involved 30 patients who alternated between telehealth and in-person check-ups after each treatment cycle. The main goal was to compare patient satisfaction, treatment completion, and health outcomes between the two types of visits.
