Summary
This study aimed to test a thyroid hormone (T3) given directly into the lungs of COVID-19 patients on breathing machines to reduce fluid buildup and improve recovery. It was designed for adults with severe lung injury (ARDS) from COVID-19. However, the trial was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
