First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study planned to test a thyroid hormone (T3) given directly into the lungs of COVID-19 patients with severe breathing failure (ARDS) who were on ventilators. The goal was to reduce lung fluid and improve recovery. However, the trial was withdrawn before any patients were enrolled, so no results are available.
