First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looked at whether making cigarette packs look plain (no bright colors or logos) changes how much young adults want to smoke or quit. Researchers surveyed 433 people aged 21-34 who smoke at least once a month. The goal was to see if simpler packaging could reduce the urge to smoke.
