First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at whether making cigarette packs plain (with standard colors and no flashy designs) changes how much young adults want to smoke or quit. Over 400 people ages 21-34 who smoked in the past month took part. Researchers measured their motivation to stop smoking to see if simpler packaging helps reduce smoking intentions.
