First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests if sparsentan can reduce high levels of protein in the urine, a sign of kidney damage, in 20 cancer patients taking certain targeted therapies. The goal is to see if the drug can help protect kidney function without stopping cancer treatment. Participants will take sparsentan for 8 weeks, and researchers will monitor changes in protein levels and any side effects.
