First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study tested different combinations of three programs—New Hope (coping skills), Elders Resilience (cultural support), and Case Management—to see which best reduces suicidal thoughts and builds resilience in American Indian youth aged 10 to 29. The 304 participants were identified as at risk for suicide. The goal is to find the most effective sequence of these behavioral interventions.
