New study tests whether help with Life's challenges keeps arthritis patients from missing appointments
NCT ID NCT05715463
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving people with inflammatory arthritis extra help—like a list of community resources, a community specialist, or a nurse navigator—can reduce missed doctor visits. About 100 adults with conditions like rheumatoid arthritis or lupus who have missed appointments in the past year will be randomly assigned to one of three support levels. The goal is to find the simplest, most cost-effective way to address social needs that affect health.
