Summary
This study looks at whether increasing physical activity using a motivational smartphone app can slow down cognitive decline in people with isolated REM sleep behavior disorder (iRBD), an early sign of Parkinson's disease. Researchers will enroll 80 people with iRBD and 50 healthy volunteers, tracking changes in thinking skills, brain scans, and blood markers over one year. The goal is to see if a simple, app-guided boost in daily steps can protect the brain before more serious symptoms appear.
