First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looked at how often sleep apnea happens in obese pregnant women and whether treatment with a CPAP machine can improve health for both mother and baby. Researchers followed 89 women with a BMI of 35 or higher in their second half of pregnancy. The goal was to see if sleep apnea is linked to high blood pressure, preeclampsia, or poor birth outcomes.
