Diabetes drug takes on deadly brain cancer in new trial

Summary
This study tests whether sitagliptin, a diabetes drug, can help the immune system fight glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumor. About 48 adults with progressive grade 4 glioma will receive sitagliptin before surgery to see if it increases cancer-fighting immune cells in the tumor. The goal is to improve tumor control, not to cure the disease.
