Summary
This early study tested whether a special fluoride treatment (silver diamine fluoride) can prevent tooth decay in 56 head and neck cancer patients receiving radiation therapy. The treatment was applied by a dentist. The goal was to see if it helps keep teeth healthy during cancer treatment.
