Summary

This study tests if semaglutide, a drug used for diabetes, can reduce harmful belly fat and improve heart health in people with HIV who have extra belly fat. About 108 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo for 32 weeks. The goal is to see if the drug can lower fat around organs and reduce inflammation, which may lower heart disease risk.
