Summary
This study is testing a new, ultra-thin endoscope that goes through the nose without sedation, making it easier and cheaper to examine the upper digestive tract in people with obesity. Researchers want to see if patients and doctors find it acceptable and comfortable. If successful, this approach could replace traditional sedated endoscopy for many bariatric patients.
