Summary
This study looks at how body weight and bariatric surgery change natural chemicals in scalp hair. Researchers will also measure hair thinning and muscle loss in the first 6 months after surgery. The study includes 60 adults: some with severe obesity scheduled for surgery, and some healthy-weight volunteers for comparison.
