First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether a new scaffold material is safe to use when repairing a nerve after a biopsy. Normally, after a nerve biopsy, the nerve is not repaired, which can cause pain, swelling, and tenderness. The study involves 20 adults with various nerve conditions who need a sural nerve biopsy. Half will get the scaffold repair, and half will not, to compare safety and side effects.
