First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at a new way to give spinal anesthesia to older adults (65+) having hip fracture surgery. The goal is to see if using a mix of two types of numbing medicine, given in small doses, can prevent blood pressure from dropping too low during surgery. About 108 people will take part, and the results will help make anesthesia safer for elderly patients.
