First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looks at a new way to give spinal anesthesia to elderly patients having hip fracture surgery. The goal is to see if using a mix of two types of numbing medicine, given in small doses, can prevent dangerous drops in blood pressure. About 108 patients aged 65 and older will take part. The results could make anesthesia safer for older adults.
