This trial compares intravenous (IV) acetaminophen to oral acetaminophen for managing pain and preventing delirium in adults aged 60 and older after hip fracture surgery. Participants receive either IV acetaminophen plus a placebo pill, or IV placebo plus oral acetaminophen, every 6 hours for 48 hours.
