Summary
This study tested whether a single dose of S-ketamine, given during surgery, could lower the amount of morphine patients needed for pain in the first 24 hours after laparoscopic gynecologic surgery. 53 relatively healthy adults took part. The goal was to see if S-ketamine could improve pain control within a standard pain management plan.
