Team handball might ease leg pain for seniors with clogged arteries

Summary

This study tests whether a 24-week recreational handball program can improve walking ability and overall health in men aged 60-80 with peripheral artery disease (PAD) who experience leg pain when walking. Participants will be randomly assigned to either the handball program or usual care. The main goal is to see if the program increases the distance they can walk in 6 minutes.
