Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can reduce physical distress and health anxiety in people with somatic symptom disorder. Thirty adults aged 20-70 will receive both real and sham (fake) stimulation in a random order, without knowing which is which. The goal is to see if targeting the left prefrontal cortex can help ease troubling body symptoms and excessive worry about health.
