Brain zaps for worried bodies: new study tests rTMS for somatic symptom disorder

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can reduce physical discomfort and excessive worry about health in people with somatic symptom disorder. About 30 adults aged 20-70 will receive both real and sham (fake) stimulation in a random order to see if the real treatment works better. The goal is to ease symptoms without medication.
