First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tested whether an 8-week course led by a robot (called Kebbi) could help prevent or delay cognitive decline in older adults. 80 people aged 65 and older with mild memory problems took part. The robot taught lessons and led interactive games to boost thinking, mood, and social connection. Researchers measured changes in memory, depression, loneliness, and well-being right after the course and again three months later.
