Which workout wins for Runner's knee? new study pits resistance vs. neuromuscular training
NCT ID NCT07329517
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 38 young male runners with patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner's knee) to see which type of exercise helps more: resistance training or neuromuscular training. Both groups did their assigned exercises, and researchers measured leg power, knee function, and balance. The goal was to find a better way to ease knee pain and improve running performance.
