NCT ID NCT07295626
First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at whether reflexology (a type of foot massage) can reduce pain, improve sleep, and stabilize vital signs in people who have had a stroke. 70 stroke patients were split into two groups: one received 12 reflexology sessions over six weeks plus usual care, while the other got usual care alone. Researchers measured pain, sleep quality, and blood pressure before and after the treatment period. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free therapy could help stroke patients feel better day-to-day.
