Puzzle power: nursing students learn infection control through play
NCT ID NCT07584694
First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether using puzzles (like crosswords and matching games) helps first-year nursing students learn infection control better than just listening to lectures. About 100 students took part, with one group doing puzzles and the other only lectures. The goal was to see if the puzzle group scored higher on knowledge tests and remembered the information longer.
