Summary
This early-stage study tests whether psilocybin, the active ingredient in magic mushrooms, can safely help adults with chronic PTSD who are already on antidepressants. Twenty participants will receive psilocybin therapy, with some also getting trauma-focused talk therapy. The goal is to see if psilocybin can reduce PTSD symptoms and improve well-being, while checking for side effects.
