First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking a probiotic called Prodentis for a long time can help control gum disease (periodontitis) better than taking it for just 3 months after standard treatment. Researchers will measure gum pocket depths and immune markers in blood and saliva. The study involves 20 adults with advanced gum disease who have already had one round of treatment.
