First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking a probiotic called Prodentis for a long time helps control gum disease (periodontitis) better than taking it for just three months after standard treatment. Twenty adults with advanced gum disease will be followed to see changes in gum pocket depths and immune markers. The goal is to find a simple, ongoing way to support gum health.
