Probiotics may ease chemo side effects in ovarian cancer

Summary
This study tests whether taking probiotics can improve gut and vaginal health in 161 women with advanced or recurrent ovarian cancer who are receiving platinum chemotherapy. Participants will take either a probiotic or a placebo pill. Researchers will check stool and vaginal samples to see if the probiotic changes the microbiome and helps with symptoms and quality of life.
