First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether taking probiotic supplements can improve the gut and vaginal microbiome in women with advanced or recurrent ovarian cancer who are receiving platinum-based chemotherapy. About 161 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either probiotics or a placebo. The goal is to see if probiotics can help maintain a healthy microbiome, which may improve quality of life and reduce symptoms during treatment.
