New hope for Platinum-Resistant ovarian cancer: ONC201 and paclitaxel combo trial launches
NCT ID NCT04055649
First seen Jun 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This Phase 2 trial tests whether adding the experimental drug ONC201 to standard chemotherapy (paclitaxel) can help women with ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer that has stopped responding to platinum-based treatments. About 62 participants will receive the combination to see if it shrinks tumors and how safe it is. The goal is to find a better option for this hard-to-treat cancer.
