Summary
This study looked at whether a home-based physical activity program and computer-based cognitive training could help prevent memory loss in older women with heart disease. Researchers enrolled 253 women aged 65 and older with a history of cardiovascular disease who were not already active or doing brain training. Participants were followed for 72 weeks to measure changes in memory and thinking skills.
