Brain and body workouts tested to shield memory in At-Risk women
NCT ID NCT04556305
Summary
This study tested whether a 24-week program of home-based physical activity and computer brain training could help prevent or delay memory loss in older women with heart disease. Researchers enrolled 253 women aged 65 and older to compare different combinations of the exercise and brain training activities against usual care. The goal was to see if these practical, at-home lifestyle changes could improve memory test scores and related blood markers over time.
