Summary
This study tested a special program to help people with both bipolar disorder and substance use problems stick to their treatment after leaving the hospital. 178 adults were split into two groups: one received extra counseling and support, while the other got enhanced safety monitoring. The goal was to see if the extra support improved mood stability and reduced substance use.
