Summary

This study tested a special program to help people with both bipolar disorder and substance use problems stick with their treatment after leaving the hospital. 178 adults took part, with half getting the new program and half getting extra safety checks, both added to their usual care. The goal was to see if the program could improve mood symptoms and treatment adherence.
