Could your own blood help treat this chronic skin condition?
NCT ID NCT04967170
Summary
This small, early-stage study is testing whether a treatment made from a patient's own blood, called platelet-rich plasma (PRP), is safe and helpful for controlling vulvar lichen sclerosus. It will compare PRP injections against a placebo in 30 women who are already using a standard steroid cream. The main goal is to check for safety and see if the treatment reduces symptoms like itching and discomfort.
