First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a treatment made from a patient's own blood (platelet-rich plasma) is safe and can reduce symptoms of vulvar lichen sclerosus, a chronic skin condition causing itching and pain. About 30 adult women will receive either the plasma treatment or a placebo. Researchers will track side effects and symptom changes using a patient questionnaire.
