New drug cocktail targets Hard-to-Treat HER2 cancers

Summary
This early-stage trial tests the safety and best dose of combining two drugs—pidnarulex and trastuzumab deruxtecan—in people with advanced breast cancer or other solid tumors that have a protein called HER2. The study includes up to 36 adults whose cancer has spread, cannot be removed by surgery, or no longer responds to standard treatments. The goal is to find a dose that is safe and may help control the disease.
