First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a person's genetic information to choose psychiatric medications leads to better recovery than standard prescribing. About 2,500 adults with mood, anxiety, or psychotic disorders will be randomly assigned to either gene-guided treatment or usual care for 24 weeks. The goal is to see if personalized drug selection improves symptoms and quality of life.
