First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how inflammation, calcium buildup, and blood clots behave in the arteries of people with peripheral artery disease (PAD). Researchers will use special PET scans to take detailed pictures of these processes in the legs and other parts of the body. About 100 adults with symptomatic PAD will participate. The study does not test a treatment, but it may help improve future diagnosis and care.
