NCT ID NCT05176795

First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study aimed to understand how gut bacteria and early-life factors like diet and antibiotics differ between children newly diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis, type 1 diabetes, or inflammatory bowel disease and their healthy siblings. Researchers collected stool samples to compare gut bacteria composition. The study was terminated early with only 4 participants enrolled, so results are limited.
