Tiny blood molecules could predict heart transplant trouble in kids
NCT ID NCT06532890
First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study is looking at tiny molecules called microRNAs in the blood of 150 children who have had a heart transplant. The goal is to see if these molecules can help predict which children will get an infection or have their body reject the new heart. Researchers hope this will lead to better, more personalized care for these young patients.
