First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This 12-week study at Ohio State University tests whether a keto diet or a mixed diet with ketone supplements can help women with PCOS have more regular periods and improve hormone balance. About 40 women aged 18-40 with PCOS will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see if these approaches safely ease symptoms and restore ovulation, laying the groundwork for larger studies.
